Simple White Bread 

                         Ingredients:

                      2c. white flour

                      3c. whole wheat

                     2 1/2 c. Room-Temperature water

                          1 tbsp. sugar,  (You can Substitute honey, molasses, etc... )

                     1 generous tbsp. active dry yeast

       In a Bowl- mix the first 2 items

            In a bigger bowl mix:

    2 1/2 c. Room-Temperature water

    1 tbsp. sugar, honey, molasses, etc...

    1 generous tbsp. active dry yeast

 

                          

When yeast has proofed, mix in about 2/3 of the flour, start kneading. Add the rest

of the flour a bit at a time until the dough is smooth and elastic -- it should take

about 5-10 minutes. Thoroughly coat a bowl with Vegetable oil, then add the dough,

flip dough over, spread oil evenly over surface. Cover Bowl and let dough rise till doubled.

 

Punch down, shape, let rise again in pans. Lightly oil tops & Bake at 350 till done
